Dhenkanal: In order to ensure quality education in Dhenkanal district, three officials from Dhenkanal district of Odisha had been on an extensive tour to Banka district of Bihar to witness the Unnayan Banka Project, a revolution in the field of educational development.

The project is an innovative vision of Banka Collector Kundan Kumar which is fostering an environment across public schools in the district that encourages active student and teacher participation, while building conceptual understanding through animated and interactive video lectures.

While it began on a pilot basis across five schools in August 2017, it has been subsequently escalated to the 38 districts of Bihar. It has also been accoladed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for its novelty, creativity and far reaching perennial impact in social change and reconstruction.
