Odisha: RI Arrested By Vigilance For Bribery

Cuttack: Vigilance officials on Tuesday arrested a Revenue Inspector on charges of bribery. The RI of Mahanga's Goudapada Mahendra Kumar Behera was nabbed red handed while acceping an illegal gratification of Rs 5,000 from one Basudeb Rout.

According to reports, Behera had demanded the bribe from Rout for a land mutation work. Rout had reported the matter to the Vigilance which laid a trap and arrested the RI. Further investigation is on.
