Odisha: Red Rebels’ Unique Initiative, Health Camps Organised In Tribal Areas

14 February 2019

Bhubaneswar: Aiming to win over tribals’ support, the Maoists organised a health check-up camp in the remote area of the district. The incident came to the fore after pictures of the camp went viral.

The red rebels have taken up the new strategy to gain public’s trust and support, informed sources. Reports also stated that ultras organised cultural programmes to spread awareness and importance of health and hygiene among the tribals.

In the recent past, Maoists had observed their protest week wherein they had torched several vehicles and thrown normal life out of gear in several remote areas. This move comes as a shock compared to their general routine of violent activities.
