Bhubaneswar: As had been claimed before the Phase-I polling on April 13, ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has reiterated that they would definitely perform well this time too.

In his media reactions, BJD spokesperson Amar Patnaik said, “As per the ground report of Phase-I polling received by us from our party workers, we will outperform our 2014 results. This has already been claimed by our Chief Minister then. Phase-II will be a success beyond our expectations in both the MLA and MP seats.”

He argued, “We think Phase-II will be better than Phase-I because the districts that are going to poll in Phase-II have been benefitted by our schemes. Even our manifesto has new JUHAR scheme, especially for Bargarh, Sambalpur, etc areas and through the development councils the face of those districts will completely change.”

“Hence we think, the love people have for us, our party and the Chief Minister, it will be reflected much more this time and we will gain more success this time,” the BJD spokesperson exuded confidence.

Notably, Odisha is all set to witness the Phase-II polling tomorrow (April 18). The five parliamentary constituencies are Aska, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Bargarh and Sundargarh while 35 Assembly seats under them.
