Odisha: Polling Officer Dies In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A polling officer posted at Anandapur died reportedly after falling ill on Sunday. He has been identified as Abhay Kumar Sethi, a staff of Champua High School. Sethi was designated for election duty at Booth No. 149 under Anandapur Assembly constituency.

On Sunday afternoon, he fell unconscious in the despatch room. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

The exact cause of death will be ascertained after receiving the autopsy report, said Keonjhar Sub-Collector Rabindra Sahu.
