Odisha Police Pays Homage On ‘Rastriya Saheed Diwas’

Cuttack: On the occasion of Rastriya Saheed Diwas (National Martyr Day), a two minute silent prayer was observed at State Police Headquarters here. Police IG P.S Ranpise was present with other police dignitaries and officials to commemorate, pay homage and stand in silence for 2 minutes.

Worth mentioning, it marks the 71st anniversary of the Martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi as well as 150th birth anniversary celebrations.

Similar programmes are being held in various schools, colleges, community centres and religious places across the city & across all of India as per a national call for 2 minutes silence on this particular day.
