Odisha Plus-II Exams 2019: First Phase Evaluation Begins

Bhubaneswar: The answer sheet evaluation of annual +2 examinations conducted by Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) commenced today and is set to continue till April 18.

58 manual and 36 online evaluation centres have been set up for the process. According to reports, evaluation for some subjects of Science and Commerce streams will be conducted online in two phases while manual valuation will be done for subjects of Arts stream.

The evaluation will be carried out in the first phase from April 8 to 18 and the second phase will be conducted from April 23 to May 2. Reportedly, 9000 teachers have been roped in to evaluate the answer sheets. Heightened security arrangements have been made in the centres including CCTV camera surveillance and ban of mobile phones.

3,65,826 students appeared for Plus II exams at 1,110 exam centres across the State between March 7 and 30.

The results are likely to be declared in the last week of May or by the first week of June, sources said.
