Odisha: Pensions Of 9 Corrupt OAS Officers Withheld, 2 Dismissed

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government's Revenue and Disaster Management department has punished as many as 9 retired Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers and dismissed two incumbent OAS officers following their conviction in Vigilance cases during the period between July 2018 and till date, official sources said.

While the department has permanently withheld pensionary and other benefits of the 9 retired OAS officers, it has dismissed two incumbent OAS officer from their service, the sources added.

The retired OAS officers whose pensionary and other benefits have been withheld are Bansidhar Naik, Pravat Kumar Mahanandia, Ganesh Prasad Naik, Sunil Kumar Sahu, Nirakar Parida, Santosh Kumar Mohanty, Nabin Seth, Sanatan Sethi, and Purandar Pujari, the sources revealed.

The incumbent OAS officers who has been dismissed from government service are Bijayini Biswal and Pradeep Kumar Behera the sources added.
