Odisha: Newborn Girl Found Abandoned In Bhubaneswar, Hospitalised

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a newborn girl was found abandoned in Prasanti Vihar area today morning.

Reportedly, a local heard the baby's cries and rescued her in an injured condition. Reports also stated that she was rescued from clutches of stray dogs just in time. She had sustained critical injuries on head, eyes and legs in the attack by stray dogs and mongoose, sources said.

She was rushed to Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here for treatment.

On the other hand, cops have begun probe into the incident and efforts were on to identify the person who abandoned the baby.
