Odisha: Newborn Baby Found Dead In Roadside In Cuttack, Body Recovered Before Attack By Street Dogs

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby’s body was found dead in the roadside outside collector’s office near Nadibandh gate here today afternoon. The body was recovered by cops before the stray dogs could maul it.

The incident came to the fore when some locals found wild dogs hovering around a bush. Soon, they discovered that a baby’s body was present there. Lalbag police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem before street dogs could maul it.

The baby is expected to be 2-3 months old. Locals suspect that as there is the Sishubhaban hospital nearby, someone might have been abandoned the baby there.
