Rayagada: Making their presence known, the Naxals on Saturday burned down three road construction vehicles at Dhuanpati village under Muniguda police limits of Rayagada district.

2 JCB machines and one road roller were present at the site for construction of Jagdalpur-Tikarpada- Dhuanpati road under one Karunakar Kansabehera of Ramnaguda.

In protest of work getting outsourced, the Naxals carried out this arson activity. In a poster which they had pasted nearby, they have demanded that local work must be allotted to local people and that farmers must get the right price for their produce in Mandis.
