Odisha MSME International Trade Fair 2020 To Kickstart On Jan 8

Bhubaneswar: The 8th edition of Odisha MSME International Trade Fair-2020 will be held here at the IDCO Exhibition Ground from Wednesday.

The five-day-long event which will conclude on Sunday is being organized by MSME Department of the State government in collaboration with NSIC, New Delhi and Development Commissioner MSME of the Union government said a press release issued by the MSME Department of the State government.

In this edition, the theme is "Focus MSME @ 2020".

The event comprises of display of MSME products, Buyer-Seller Meet, Technology demonstration, Start-up, Innovation, Marketing Avenue for women entrepreneurs through World Trade Centre (WTC) and Sectoral Seminars.

Besides foreign delegates from Iran (20 Companies) and Bangladesh (10 Companies) are likely to participate in the Trade Fair for business networking.

During the Trade Fair, the MSMEs of the State will be able to show case their products and avail networking opportunities like one-to-one meeting (B2B, B2C, B2G).

Workshops and Seminars will be organized during the five-day-long trade fair.

Moreover, to entertain visitors and participants at the trade fair cultural programmes on the art and culture of Odisha by eminent artists of the State will be organized every evening.

The Trade Fair will have four hangars with 70 stalls in each.

As many as 280 stalls will display of MSME products at the Trade Fair.

That apart there will be 32 stalls for Technology Demonstration for exposure to the budding first generation entrepreneurs.

The fair will also serve as a platform for entrepreneurs from traditionally non-industrial districts, to showcase their ventures before the international audience.

Visitors to the Trade Fair will have the opportunity to relish cuisines of Odisha and other States as well at the dedicated Food Court comprising of 15 nos. of stalls.

Odisha MSME International Trade Fair-2020 will be declared open at 5.30 PM on 8 January 2020.
