Odisha: 'Mo Sarkar' Component Added To Annual Appraisal Report Of Officers

Bhubaneswar: In a major decision taken by the Odisha Government on Friday, steps taken under Mo Sarkar initiative have been included as a component in the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) of officials. The Mo Sarkar component will carry 5 points/percentage or marks which will be included under the 5T ratings.

A letter issued by the General Administration Department stated that Government has already decided to accord 20 per cent weightage for performance of Government employees in implementation of 5T components.

Out of the allotted weightage f 20 per cent for 5T charter, 5 per cent will be assigned in respect of performance under Mo Sarkar initiative. This will be applicable to the employees of Departments which are implementing the Mo Sarkar initiative.

As of now, the Health Department and State Police come under the purview of Mo Sarkar. Subsequently all the Departments will be coming under the ambit of Mo Sarkar, the GA Department's letter read. This system of rating will apply to All India Services officers as well as State Government officials.
