The second challenge before my department is to provide clean drinking water in every home in urban areas and provide the same in maximum number of villages and homes in rural areas in 2020.

Thirdly, we target to speed up of housing projects both in urban and rural areas under PMAY, so that houses are available to more and more eligible people. Panchayati Raj department's support for building cattle sheds etc for livelihood will be also speeded up," said Pratap Jena, Minister Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Housing & Urban Development.
