Odisha Ministers Donate Salary For Cyclone Aid

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Ministers Badri Narayan Patra and Bikram Kesari Arukh made contributions to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on Saturday to help in Cyclone FANI aid.

School and Mass Education Minister Badri Patra donated Rs 1,94,000 (two months’ salary) for relief and restoration work. Similarly, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bikram Arukh donated Rs 3 lakh (three months’ salary).

The Ministers met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in person and handed over their cheques, satted a press release by Information and Public Relations department.

It is notable to mention here that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a website named ‘Rebuild Odisha’ for public donations on Saturday and also announced a package for livelihood support.
