Odisha: Matric Exam Question Paper Goes Viral, Mass Education Minister Dubs It ‘Rumour’

Bhubaneswar: In a dramatic twist of events, Matric exam question paper went viral on social media an hour after commencement of exams in the State today morning.

While 5,87,720 students were appearing the Odia exam today at 2953 centres, the question paper started surfacing on Whatsapp messages. The paper reportedly surfaced on social media in Nuapada district and soon went viral in Dhenkanal, Rayagada and Koraput.

On the other hand, School and Mass Education Minister Badri Patra denied reports and said that mobile phones were completely prohibited at the exam centres. “The Nodal centres also have CCTV surveillance and tight security arrangements were also made, so all these reports are a rumour,” he concluded.
