Odisha Matric Exam Question Paper Goes Viral: Centre Superintendent Confirms Paper Leak

Bhubaneswar: The truth over a matric exam question paper going viral on social media on the very first day of the examination today has been established after the Centre Superintendent of Bandhugaon High School in Koraput district agreed of the paper leak.

Centre Superintendent Nagendra Jena said an unidentified boy had entered the school premises by jumping over the boundary wall within 20 minutes of commencement of the examination.

It was when the invigilator was busy signing booklets of the students, the said boy passed a mobile phone to one student sitting near the window. The student had just clicked picture of the question paper when the invigilator noticed him.

Immediately the invigilator called Jena and he along with the Centre Observer rushed to the exam hall. When the authorities rushed to nab the boy, he had already fled from the spot. On questioning, the student agreed clicking pictures of the question paper.

Jena further said that there was no security present near the boundary wall from where the boy entered the school.

Meanwhile, District Education Officer (DEO) of Koraput Pramod Kumar Panda said we will conduct a probe into the incident and take action as per government procedure.
