Cuttack: After the Odia and English question papers of Odisha Matric Exam went viral, the Hindi paper too surfaced on social media platforms at Saintala block in Bolangir district today morning but the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) said that the question paper has not gone viral today.

Ramashis Hazra, O.A.S.(SAG) Secretary of BSE said, “No paper has gone viral today. Sometimes, news that comes to the fore is not completely verified and that is putting bad impact on students and guardian. Exams have been conducted smoothly and safely today everywhere. I request the media personnel to get the question papers checked with the Board before telecasting it as ‘viral’.”

The Board on Tuesday cancelled the English matriculation exam at three centres in Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Bolangir districts following reports of malpractices. The centres are Ghunsar Government High School in Bolangir, PR High School in Dhenkanal and Krupasindhu Nodal High School at Gopinathpur in Cuttack. After Odia question paper went viral on the first day, 11 teachers had been suspended and seven had been arrested in connection with the incident.
