Odisha: Married Youth’s Genitals Chopped Off, Rescued In Critical Condition

Keonjhar: A 28-yr-old married youth named Dipaka Mahanta was found in a pool of blood with his genitals chopped off at Sanrapasi village under Patna PS in Keonjhar district on Friday morning.

Notably, he had gone to relieve himself outside in the morning. But when he did not return for quite some time, his family members got alarmed and started searching him. He was found in a abandoned room of a residential school of the villagein a very critical condition with his genitals chopped off with some sharp weapon.

They rushed him to the hospital in the village. He was later referred to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) as his condition deteriorated.

Dipaka is the owner of a tent house. It is suspected that some persons might have indulged in this crime over past enmity.
