Balasore: Tension gripped the family members of a married woman who was found hanging in Dhauli village under Rapeya Panchayat here today morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sumitra Sahani (25), wife of one Rajendra Sahani.

Relatives of the woman said sobbingly that they found her hanging in her room when they came back from work. While it is being suspected that she committed suicide by hanging herself after some family dispute, her family members have filed a complaint in Simulia police station claiming that she was murdered by her in-laws.

On intimation, cops reached the spot and recovered her body. While the body has been sent for post-mortem to Soro Medical, further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
