Balasore: In a shocking incident, a man was held for allegedly hacking his wife to death late on Thursday night in Kamarda area here. The arrested person has been identified as Kamala Kant Rana.

Rana, a resident of Ramnagar area of West Bengal was staying with his wife in a rented house in Kamarda. Suspecting that she was involved in an extra-marital affair, he hacked her to death in her sleep.

While he was trying to flee to West Bengal in the middle of the night, Rana was arrested by Balasore police. Further probe into the matter is currently underway.
