Odisha: Lovebirds Found Hanging From Tree In Angul Over Failed Affair

Angul: In a shocking incident, bodies of two lovebirds were found hanging from a tree near Chandi bazar area in Kumanda here today morning.  The deceased have been identifed as Ranjan Sahu of Kumanda village and Sasmita Sahu of Baluakata village.

According to sources, Sasmita is married to Ranjan's brother which makes Ranjan her brother-in-law. After falling in love, they wanted to live together. When their family members found out about their illicit love affair and vehemently opposed it, they were in a fix.

On Saturday morning, locals spotted their bodies hanging from a tree in the village outskirts and immediately informed the cops. Their bodies have been recovered from post-mortem and police has launched further probe into the matter.
