Odisha: Kendrapada MP Anubhav Mohanty Courts Controversy Yet Again

Bhubaneswar: Lok Sabha Member from Kendrapada, Anubhav Mohanty is embroiled in a controversy again. The owner of flex print shop has filed a complaint in Kendrapara Sadar police station alleging that the actor turned politician has not paid his dues.

According to the complainant, Mohanty allegedly ordered and purchased banners, posters, stickers, hoardings and other campaign materials from him. Anubhav is yet to pay Rs 11.45 lakh in lieu of the purchase. But the MP has not paid cleared the arrears, he mentioned in the complaint.

The reaction of the Parliamentarian on this matter was not available. In November 2019, Anubhav was in the news for wrong reasons. He had allegedly misbehaved with a reporter in public.

In June 2014, Purighat police in Cuttack, had registered a case against Anubhav following a complaint by a woman journalist who levelled allegations of misbehaviour against him.
