Puri: After clinching a 5-0 victory against South Africa and holding a draw against Belgium, Pool C leaders in Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup the Indian Team today visited the golden sea beach of Puri to calm their nerves and spend some relaxing moments.

After arriving in a luxurious hotel at 9 am this morning, the team first went on to swim in the resort’s swimming pool and laze around. Soon, they proceeded to the beach and took a refreshing dip in the Bay of Bengal, while lifeguards looked over. The team braved the waves of the Sea and emerged reenergized and rejuvenated after their bath.

They also rode on camelback and with blasting music they played an adrenaline-filled volleyball match. The men in blue tossed the ball in the air as the ever-inspiring ‘Chak De India’ played in the background.

As per sources, the team is set to visit the Fan Village inside Kalinga Stadium to meet and greet the fans. These few moments of relaxation and happiness can prove to be wonders for India’s performance against Canada on December 8 and help the team storm into quarter-finals.
