Rourkela: Income Tax officials raided as many as 15 places including residence and offices related to Indrani Mines and Minerals Private Limited here today morning.

Reportedly, the owner Indrani Patnaik’s house and offices were raided by a 18-member team of income tax department in the Civil Township area of Rourkela on charges of tax evasion and hoarding of cash. The mine fields of the company are located in Keonjhar, stated reports.

While the tax assessment is currently underway, exact amount of assets are yet to be ascertained.
