Odisha: Headmaster’s Head Shaved, Thrashed In Mayurbhanj For Misbehaving With Girls

Mayurbhanj: The headmaster of Nuhamalia upper primary school in Gadia panchayat under Morada block was brutally thrashed and was later tonsured by locals for allegedly misbehaving with the girl students.

Reportedly on January 29, some girl students complained of the headmaster Anangdev Tipiria’s actions that was followed by a massive outrage. After that, the headmaster had taken leave citing health issues. On Thursday, he had come to meet some parents of the girl students when his head was half-tonsured and he was thrashed severely.

On intimation, Suliapada police reached the spot and rescued the headmaster. A complaint has been filed by the family members of the girl students and further probe into the matter is on.
