Odisha H&UD Minister Pratap Jena Receives Fame India Best Minister Award

Bhubaneswar: Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Pratap Jena received the Fame India Best Minister Award at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday. He was handed over the award by Union Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Mahendra Nath Pandey.

Addressing media persons after landing at Bhubaneswar Airport on Sunday Jena thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for inducting him as a minister which gave him a chance to win the award.

Jena, who was elected from the Mahanga Assembly constituency for the fifth time in the recent general elections, also thanked the people of his constituency for their blessings. Thanking the people of Cuttack district and citizens of Odisha, he said that the award will be an inspiration to work more for the public in future.

He perceived that the work done by him as Health Minister in the past, the steps taken presently as H&UD and Panchayati Raj Minister and the initiatives taken as the Law Minister to set up JMFC courts in every block and appointment of lawyers in every gram Panchayats to provide legal assistance under Madhubabu Aain Sahayata Yojana has got him the award.

It is worthwhiel to mention that in an attempt to acknowledge the duty of worthy ministers towards people and appreciate their good work, Fame India Magazine has jointly conducted a survey with Asia Post to choose the Best Ministers of 2019 excluding the Chief Ministers.
