Bhubaneswar: Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Pratap Jena on Sunday ensured zero tolerance against corruption in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in the State.
Jena's reaction came after BJP brought serious allegations of corruption in the implementation of the scheme. The Minister said that it is the habit of the saffron party to level allegations against implementation of any scheme in the State.
The BJP is acting in such manner after its defeat in the recent elections, said Jena while adding that not a single person involved in any kind of corruption while be spared and stringent action will be taken against him or her.
In reaction to the allegations of BJP leader Sarada Pradhan who claimed that he has proof of numerous instances of corruption in implementation of the PMAY scheme in Mahanga assembly constituency of Cuttack district, Jena said that if any such instances are in notice of the district Collector, he should take immediate action on it.
