Odisha Governor Reviews Cuttack District’s Developmental Activities, Instructs For More Improvement

Cuttack: Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal today reviewed the developmental activities of Cuttack district at the Collectorate here and instructed the concerned departments and authorities for improvement so far the children and students are concerned since they are the promising future of the nation and nation building.

Soon after the high level review, the Governor in his media reactions said, “I wish to infuse a new lease of life into the children of our Odisha so that they are at par with the facilities enjoyed by the children of the parents at high level and posts in our country. The facilities include health, education, safe drinking water, electrification, gas connection, ODF, etc and overall protecting the childhood ensured with a safe and sound environment.”

“These are the awareness I am doing it in the schools, colleges and universities, medical colleges, and also sharing my thoughts with the district officers as well as Panchayati Raj. The review outcomes will be shared with the President of India and the Odisha’s Chief Minister,” he stated.

He also stated, “When I compare the situation before and after 2014, there is a hell and heaven difference. There is a great change as far as the efficiency is concerned, work culture is concerned and as far as the efforts and the endeavour of the officers are concerned. They are on legs.”

He further stated, “It is also a fact that the system that used to be before 2014 (not only in Odisha, but also in the entire country), a paradigm shift has been noticed after 2014. Hence, I feel that a rising India, divine India, shining India, loveable India, mother India, glorious India is a must in future. It’s cent percent certain. No force of the world can check it from materializing.”

“Opportunism, bribery, power greediness, advertisements, exploitation, deception, oppression are phantoms of falsehood,” the Odisha Governor remarked.

Cuttack ADM Bijay Kumar Khandayat Ray informed media, “The Hon’ble Governor today reviewed the present situation of education, health, communication and connectivity, drinking water supply, housing scheme in the rural and urban areas, etc in our district.”

“On being asked why the Collector was absent at the review meeting, the ADM replied, “I’m in charge Collector. The DEO and other officials who were absent today are on election training. On their behalf, Sarva Sikhya officials and other District Education officials were present.”

The ADM also informed, “The Governor expressed satisfaction at some performances of the departments and still we have to perform more within time limit for which he has advised and issued instructions today.”

“So far Anganwadi and health sectors are concerned, the condition of Cuttack district is very good. Yet, the Governor has instructed to further improve on the condition,” he stated.
