Odisha Government Open To Discussions During Assembly Session: CM

Bhubaneswar: The government is open to discussion in all matters regarding Odisha during this assembly session, said Chief Minister-cum-BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik after chairing the legislature party meeting on Sunday.

Patnaik further said that his government looks forward to the cooperation of the Central Government and also assured to follow up on all the promises made to the people in BJD's 2019 manifesto.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh informed that the first budget session of 16th Odisha Assembly is to begin from June 25.

While Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal will address the Odisha Assembly on June 25, the budget for the year 2019-20 will be tabled on June 28.

The session will have 30 working days with three government and three private members business days. The first phase of the Assembly session will be held from June 25 to July 2 and the second phase will resume from July 12 and continue till August 8.
