Odisha Government Asks NLUO To Enable 25% Reservation For Domicile Students

Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department of Odisha has asked the National Law University, Odisha (NLUO) in Cuttack to enable 25 per cent reservation for domicile students.

In a letter to the Vice Chancellor of NLUO, Commissioner cum Secretary of Higher Education Department, Saswat Mishra stated, that students who have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from the State of Odisha shall be eligible for claiming reservation for admission under the state domicile quota.

"I would, therefore, request you to work out the necessary modalities so as to enable the students of Odisha to avail 25% domicile reservation for taking admission in the National Law University, Odisha, Cuttack from the coming academic session," Mishra added.
