Puri: Former Indian cricketer and former captain of the national cricket team Anil Kumble today visited the Puri Jagannath Temple to seek the blessings of Holy Trinity.

Soon after a hassle-free darshan along with his wife, Kumble shared, “I visited Puri for the first time and it is an auspicious day today as it is my child’s birthday as well. We also watched the Hockey match yesterday and enjoyed every second of it.”

After watching the Pool A Argentina-France match, Kumble had tweeted, “At the #HWC2018 #Odisha2018 beautiful atmosphere at the Kalinga stadium.”

“I wish India wins as it is the host country,” he concluded with a smile.

Kumble, a former Indian cricket captain of Tests and ODIs, played matches for 18 years. A right-arm leg spin bowler, he took 619 wickets in Test cricket and remains the third-highest wicket taker of all time.
