Keonjhar: Fear and panic gripped the patients undergoing treatment at the Keonjhar district headquarters hospital (DHH) as they had a narrow escape after a fire broke out at the hospital today morning.

The fire broke out in the surgery ward of the DHH and around 40 patients were moved to safety. The patients started panicking as soon as they heard sounds of blasts and explosions. Hospital authorities rushed to the spot and immediately informed the fire officials.
