Odisha: Fake Job Racket Busted In Jharsuguda, 4 Conmen Land Behind Bars

Jharsuguda: Four fraudsters were arrested by Badamal police of Jharsuguda district who used to con people luring them to provide jobs in the Vedanta Alumina Ltd. 

The modus operandi of the job racket was to contact the job aspirants over phone and convice them of providing them a job after taking amount of Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 per person. After investigation, it was found that they had conned more than 100 job aspirants of different places of Odisha,Jharkhand area.

The job racket came into light after a youth named Sunil Singh (26) hailing from Kalahandi district lodged an FIR with Badmal police stating that he was cheated of Rs 37,000 by two people   Upon further investigation, the police discovered that the gang consisted of four people, two from Kalahandi, one from Jharsuguda and one from Jharkhand.
