Odisha: Fake Currency Of Face Value Rs 65,000 Seized In Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: Rengali police on Sunday seized fake currency notes amounting to Rs 65,000 from Chikhilapali area.

Three persons have been detained in this connection. The police seized 110 – five hundred rupee notes and 5 – two thousand rupee notes from their possession.

All these were counterfeit currency notes, the police said. The cops raided the village basing on a tip-off that a fake note racket was active in Odisha Chhattisgarh border, Rengali IIC Chitta Ranjan Mohapatra said.
