Odisha: Double Murder For Loot In Keonjhar, 3 Brothers Arrested

Keonjhar: The cops of Keonjhar Sadar police station arrested three persons today in connection with a double murder case.

Reportedly, the incident had occurred on January 13 when an elderly couple Milu Nayak and Kasturi was guarding a stone crusher unit in Khuntakata village in Kasada area. In an attempt to loot, three miscreants had killed the husband and wife and had dumped their bodies in a well. Then, the accused trio looted a sack of rice and Rs 1200 from the spot.

A missing complaint in this regard was lodged in the police station.

Cops arrested three brothers today in connection with killing the couple after the bodies were recovered in presence of the Magistrate. They have reportedly confessed to the crime.
