Balasore: In a major breakthrough, the forest officials today busted a wildlife poaching gang and arrested two persons in possession of deer hide and antlers under Kuldiha sanctuary in Nilagiri forest range here.

Reportedly, the Asssitant Conservator of Forest Officer (ACFO) received a tip-off that some poachers from Mayurbhanj had come to attack wildlife in Nilagiri forest range.

Acting on the tip-off, they conducted raid at Bhaliaposhi village and nabbed the poachers. The officials also seized two guns and bullets from the poachers’ possession. Further probe into the matter is currently underway.
