Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on Friday advised newly recruited assistant section officers (ASOs) to utilize their professional knowledge and work like in-house consultants.
Interacting with new recruits at the Lokseva Bhawan here today Tripathy said,"Society is undergoing rapid transformation. People are now connected to digital world. Their inspirational level has also increased manifold. Accordingly government is transforming its mechanisms and systems".
"As many of you have professional qualifications, government expects you to work professionally in innovative ways," he added.
The Chief Secretary advised the recruits to act in perspective of 5T Charter and conduct all their official works through the online systems like IFMS,OSWAS and HRMS.
Development Commisisoner Suresh Chandra Mohapatra directed the ASOs to get aquainted with the existing rules and norms in force for various types of works, understand the procedural requirements in their true spirit and act promptly for quick delivery of services.
