Bhubaneswar: A day after a jawan of Odisha Special Armed Police (OSAP) 7th Battalion urged Odisha Health Minister and public to save his newborn son, admitted at Sishubhawan in Cuttack, BJD's Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty took stock of the situation and ensured proper treatment by the doctors.

Mohanty visited the hospital and after a discussion with the doctors informed that there are certain complicacies and further treatment will proceed once the infant accepts food.

A team of doctors including paediatricians and paediatric surgeons are engaged for the treatment of the child, with all expenses borne by the State Government, said Administrative Officer of Sishubhawan, Lingaraj Behera.

He further informed that though the condition of the child is presently stable, the head of paediatric surgery will decide on when to perform the surgery on the child.

Last night, OSAP jawan Debasis Kar had posted about his ordeal on facebook stating, "My son Born at last 2 Days Present in SISUVAWAN at Cuttack So, My Son Is Now Very Critical posisison in old Surgical Word no. 48 , No Body r not Care of Him so I Hope less. So I Request to Hobble Health Minister Sir,Please help me, I want my Son can Sea the World... I request please, please Help me .. and All My friends n colic all so.. I Need All ur help.. n Bless please..jai jagannath. ..[SIC]".
