Odisha Congress Expels 19 Leaders For Alleged 'Anti-Party' Activities

Bhubaneswar: Nineteen leaders of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) were expelled from the party for alleged anti-party activities on Monday.

The expelled leaders include Makaranda Muduli, Sandhu Charan Majhi, Joseph Bhadra, Gajendra Nayak, Ambika Majhi, Nilakantha Jhodia, Ruai Majhi, Dr Tirupati Panigrahi, Gabhara Tirupati Rao, Akhil Kumar Patra, Krushnachandra Dora, Sasanam Balaraju, Madapala Krishna Rao, Himanshu Lima, Ganju Gomango, Kishore Chandra Pradhan, Yudhisthir Badamundi, S Gajapati Rao and Krushnachandra Behera.

Their expulsion from the party was approved by All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and Odisha in-charge Jitendra Singh, temporary in-charge of Odisha TS Singh Deo and OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik.
