Bhubaneswar: A 36-year-old policeman of Commissionerate of Police has tested positive for COVID-19. He reportedly contracted the virus from a labourer from another state, the Twin City police tweeted.
“He underwent precautionary testing after returning from leave and tested positive. He is asymptomatic and has been shifted to a COVID care facility,” the Commissionerate of Police informed.
“Doctors at our four police hospitals in the Twin City are monitoring the health condition of all police personnel closely following established protocols,” the Tweet further read.
