Bhubaneswar: Daredevil Subrat Ojha set example for youths in the State today. After being felicitated by Commissioner of Police for catching chain snatchers, he immediately donated the amount to Chief Minister's Relief Fund and was hailed as a hero.

On August 14, Subrat prevented three miscreants from snatching his mother's gold chain in Rasulgarh. He caught hold of one of the miscreants from back and was dragged along with their bike for few metres, but he did not let go. As a result, the miscreants lost control of the bike and the locals captured them.

As soon as he received a cash reward by Commissionerate Police, Subrat expressed his wish to donate the amount of Chief Minister's Relief Fund. "With this, I hope that our CM creates an environment that acts as deterrent for looters and snatchers."

Satyajit Mohanty, Twin City Commissioner of Police praised, "Subrat's courage and presence of mind resulted in apprehension of the robbers. I hope his act of valour inspires others.”
