Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and supremo of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Naveen Patnaik paid a visit to former Mayor and BJD MLA candidate for Bhubaneswar Central Ananta Narayan Jena today morning at Capital Hospital. Jena is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital after he was injured in a bomb attack by miscreants on Sunday.

Reportedly, the CM was accompanied by BJD MP candidate for Bhubaneswar Arup Patnaik, BJD MLA candidate for Ekamra Ashok Panda and transgender activist Meera Parida. The regional satrap checked on the health of the BJD candidate and wished him a speedy recovery. Jena's condition is reportedly stable now.

In a shocking development last night, Ananta Narayan Jena was critically injured in a bombing near Jharpada canal road under Laxmisagar police limits. Three bike-borne miscreants hurled bombs at Jena while he was travelling in a Maruti car and they soon fled the spot. On intimation, cops reached the place and began an investigation into the incident.
