Bhubaneswar: 'Mo Sarkar' initiative of the Odisha government to be launched tomorrow on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of the father of the nation-Mahatma Gandhi is a novel attempt for direct interface between the government and the general public, stated Information and Public Relations Minister Raghunandan Das.

"This being a direct interface with the general public about their problems and issues all officers will be on alert. The issues/problems can range from law and order, health, ration card, housing etc. This is a novel way to connect with the issues of the people," Das said talking to reporters here on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will launch the 'Mo Sarkar' initiative from Saheed Nagar Police Station and Capital Hospital respectively for the Police and Health departments on Wednesday, informed Twin City Commissioner of Police Sudhanshu Sarangi briefing reporters at the Commissionerate Police headquarters here earlier in the day.
