Odisha CM’s Aircraft ‘Emergency Landing’ Report Totally Baseless: CMO

Bhubaneswar: Soon after the report of ‘emergency landing’ of the aircraft carrying Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik got flashed on electronic media, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) dubbed such report as ‘totally baseless’.

As per the CMO sources, “Due to bad weather condition, the Chief Minister’s aircraft could not land at Lanjigarh. Hence, it got diverted to Jeypore airstrip. The Chief Minister will leave for Rayagada shortly by chopper and attend the scheduled programme one hour late.”

“The report of emergency landing at Jeypore is totally baseless,” stated the CMO communique.
