Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates Rs 150 Cr Worth Projects In Mayurbhanj

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated 11 public welfare projects, laid foundation stones of six others and addressed a 'Mission Shakti' convention during his visit to Mayurbhanj district today.

The projects inaugurated include four bridges, two girls' hostel, a public health centre, three piped water supply projects and a government building.

Besides, he laid foundation stones of two bridges, two piped water supply projects, one irrigation project and one river boundary wall project.

Patnaik also distributed seed money of Rs 15,000 each to 20,295 Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) at the 'Mission Shakti' convention at Chhau Padia in Baripada.

Further, he distributed Rs 25 lakh each to 26 block-level federations, Rs 3,000 each to 39,418 WSHGs to digitally empower women and Rs 49 crore in total to WSHGs and federations in Mayurbhanj district.
