Bhubaneswar: Exercising his constitutional right and fulfilling his duty has a responsible citizen, Odisha Chief Minister cum supremo of Biju Janata Dal Naveen Patnaik cast his vote at a booth-112 in Aerodrome Colony UP School here.

Like every other citizen, Patnaik too waited for his turn in the line. It is notable to mention here that Patnaik has been registered as a voter under Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat and Ekamra constituency. BJD’s Arup Patnaik, BJP’s Aparajita Sarangi and Congress-backed CPI’s Janardan Pati are fighting for the LS seat. BJD's Ashok Panda, BJP's Babu Singh and Congress' Rashmi Rekha Mohapatra are fighting for the MLA seat.

For the first time, Naveen Patnaik is contesting elections from two seats- his home turf Hinjili and second seat Bijepur in Western Odisha.

After getting inked, he proceeded to address public meetings and hold road shows as part of fourth and final phase campaign at Bhadrak, Jajpur and Cuttack. The final phase poll in Odisha is on April 23 in Odisha and results are set to be announced on May 23.
