Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday launched the Online Land Revenue Payment System at the Lok Seva Bhavan. The system will ease the cumbersome process of paying land revenue manually and is expected to provide a great relief to the farmers.
After launching the system, Naveen said that the system would provide a great relief to farmers who had to run to Government offices and facing a cumbersome process to pay their land revenue.
The new system is a simple one, developed by Bhubaneswar NIC. Farmers can make online payments in minutes and get the receipt. A farmer from Bhubaneswar Tehsil Manoj Kumar Das paid his dues live via video confereing demonstrating the efficacy of the system.
The CM also interacted with users of the new system from several discussed.
Referring to the Five-T initiative of the Chief Minister, Secretary of Five-T, VK Pandian said that all Government services will be available online minimum human interface by August 2020.
