Odisha CM Directs To Supply Cooked Food Till Next 15 Days

Bhubaneswar: In view of the devastation caused by Cyclone FANI and the extremely tedious task of restoration, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed Collectors of affected districts to supply cooked food to people for 15 days.

Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi has been given the charge to supervise overall relief, restoration and housing. The responsibility to supervise restoration of drinking water and electricity has been entrusted on Development Commissioner Asit Kumar Tripathy.

Principal Secretary of Agriculture Department, Saurabh Garg, has to maintain coordination with NGOs and international organisations. Similarly, responsibility to maintain coordination with media and material logistics has been entrusted on Secretary of Skill Development and Technical Education, Sanjay Kumar Singh.
