Odisha CM Announces Infra Development Initiatives For 4 More Hospitals

Bhubaneswar: Based on the third set of visit reports of Mo Sarkar team, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced infrastructure development activities for hospitals in Sundergarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.

For the Sundergarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Patnaik announced that infrastructure gaps will be met from the District Mineral Fund including Attendants Rest Shed and Staff Quarters. He also stated that Rs 10 lakh will be given to SP Sundergarh for promotion of Blood Donation Camps. Besides, two Ambulances and two Mahaprayan vehicles will be provided.

For Rourkela Government Hospital, bed strength will be increased to 400. Besides, Rs 15 lakh from Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) will be given to Rogi Kalyan Samiti for Patient Welfare & Innovation and Rs 10 lakh will be given to SP Rourkela for promotion of Blood Donation Camps.

For Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj DHH infrastructure gaps will be met from the District Mineral Funds. Besides Rs 15 lakh will be given from CMRF to Mayurbhanj DHH for Patient Welfare & Innovation and Rs 10 lakh will be given to SP Rourkela for promotion of Blood Donation Camps.

Earlier on October 14, CM Patnaik after reviewing the progress of the Mo Sarkar initiative had announced infrastructure development activities for hospitals in Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Koraput districts.
